June 2021

  • On JUNE 15th 2021 I wondered if I had enough vision in my one eye to paint, It felt great and the old Linda was back. Everyone said lovely things about the new painting (below) and I haven’t stopped since.
PEACE
“PEACE”An imaginary horse.

I have been totally absorbed with new ideas every day. Using my imagination the paintings just fall off the brush. I will continue to paint until the fun wears off but in the mean time, here is a collection of works all done this year.

It is now September 2021, the 20 year Anniversary of the twin towers tragedy, now known as 9/11 I remember the horror on the TV and later painted it. It reminds me how many years I have enjoyed painting even though that particular painting was very moving and hard to do. Its a shame I painted over it but I’d run out of canvases.. The sky was so blue that day and the fire on the bright buildings seemed unreal. Today I am painting again more thought provoking studies. Each has a new twist and should make my work more interesting.
